Course Reflection Post

  Florida History Class As the class comes to an end, I am sitting here reminiscing on the experiences and knowledge I've gained throughout the semester. Learning things I didn't know before about my home state, being able to properly appreciate the culture of the Natives who were here before us and understanding how the state formed into the place it is today. Walking out of the class I felt more knowledgeable and coherent in Florida history and felt as If I could educate the public myself.  Everglades National Park I learned all this from the books (A Land Remembered and the Florida History textbook), the podcasts and the articles that we had to study for each assignment that we did. I learned all about from the early days of Florida to present day. From that, there was a lot to learn and absorb about the state I live in and love.
